Clock-in System for companies

An end-to-end time and attendance platform that helps Spanish companies comply with working-time regulations while simplifying everyday HR operations. Employees clock in and out from the mobile app or web (with optional geofencing, IP/device restrictions, and kiosk mode for shared tablets), view their daily totals, and submit requests for leave, remote work, and schedule changes. Managers orchestrate shifts and rotating rosters, manage multiple departments and sites, and see real-time presence dashboards that make exceptions and anomalies obvious at a glance. The system unifies holiday management, approvals, and documentation in one place. HR teams can store contracts and policy documents, track balances and accruals, and export audit-ready reports. Detailed analytics highlight overtime, lateness, break patterns, and productivity trends, with filters by location, role, and team. A granular permissions model keeps sensitive information private while allowing supervisors to act quickly, and the UI is intentionally minimal so new users can be productive with virtually no training. Designed for reliability on the move, the mobile apps gracefully handle weak connectivity and sync as soon as a signal is available. Data security and GDPR compliance are embedded from the start: explicit consent flows, data minimization, encryption in transit and at rest, and clear retention policies. By bringing schedules, clock-ins, leave, and documents together, the platform becomes the single source of truth for workforce operations.

Challenge & Solution

Accommodate diverse company policies and collective agreements without turning the product into a maze of settings. We needed to model complex shifts (split days, rotating weekends, night work), multi-step approval chains, and regional calendars while keeping the user experience straightforward. Preventing misuse—such as buddy-punching—required geofencing, device fingerprints, and auditable trails that stand up to inspections. Mobile reliability was also crucial: users must be able to register events quickly even in areas with patchy coverage. Another challenge was migrating organizations from spreadsheets and legacy tools. That demanded smooth imports, clear guidance, and exports compatible with payroll. Finally, we had to scale to multi-site operations while preserving performance and keeping administration overhead low for HR teams with limited bandwidth.

Final Result

More than 50 companies now rely on the platform to meet legal obligations and streamline HR routines. Employees enjoy transparency over their hours and balances; managers gain real-time visibility and act on exceptions instead of chasing emails and spreadsheets; HR can produce audit-ready records in seconds. The consolidation of scheduling, attendance, approvals, and documents reduces manual work and speeds up payroll closing. Because the product is modular, each company enables only what it needs—geofenced clock-ins, kiosk terminals, advanced analytics—keeping the interface clean. The result is measurable time savings, fewer disputes, stronger compliance posture, and a calmer day-to-day rhythm for teams across departments and locations.
